Victoria’s Beyond the Valley festival has unveiled its first full lineup for 2018, which will host a group of artists most Australians have either seen in the last month, or have never heard of.
Festival Director, Kevin Lee said organisers could not be arsed delivering something fresh so they just combined the lineups from the last three Groovin’ the Moo festivals.
“We’ve pretty much plucked straight from the Triple J recycling bin of Australian artists,” Lee said.
“Crowds should keenly anticipate a lot of reverb and lyrics about waking up in the morning and smoking marijuana.”
Keen festival-goer, Amy, 25, said she was initially stoked when the lineup was announced.
“Fleetwood Mac! OMG at first, I couldn’t believe my eyes,” she said.
“But I soon realised it said ‘Fleetmac Wood’… “
Beyond the Valley organisers are yet to confirm whether ‘Jon Bovi’ and ‘The Stoning Rolls’ will also feature.
The festival will be held in Warragul from Friday, 27th December 2018 to Tuesday, 1st January 2019, with potential ticket-buyers being advised to do something else over New Years.
